With his inheritance, he was able to fund Impressionist exhibitions and support his fellow artists.
Reviews
This book from kindle and transposed for IPad provides a number of reproductions of Gustave Caillembotte's paintings which are fair to good in their reproductions. However there are no identification subscripts telling us the name of each picture , date or even size.. There is a list at the front of the book, but this is virtually useless as the list is not identified with page numbers, and neither are there any page numbers to the book ! As far as text general about the painter's life, friends, career and his impressionist colleagues, Exhibitions etc......THERE ARE NON ! VERY POOR EFFORT INDEED, not worth the Kindle price of £4.58. Would not advise wasting your money on this .
