I bought a book from this same publisher on guitar scales. THAT one is awesome. THIS one, is not so awesome. Here's what to expect, the BOTTOM line. If you don't know which key is middle C from any other key on the keyboard, SAVE YOUR MONEY. This book doesn't tell you wher it is at.You HAVE to already know a bit about how to read music. As I stated from the start, I will repeat in an effort to emphasize that THIS book is NOT for beginners. Period.If you know how to read music you might find it helpful, I don't know. It doesn't tell you which key, for example or what note the very first key on the left is so you can take it from there. You can't because it doesn't tell you. That was the information I was looking for.Judging by the product description and judging by the book for guitar scales by this same author, I thought it would be good. I thought wrong.
