NOTE: Books 4-6 are the original 1959 books, while books 1-3 have been revised and the original editions are not in print. Thus, this is not a perfect follow-up for the current versions of books 1-3. That said, it is great. I think the old 1959 editions of books 1-3 are superior to the new ones.Books 4-6 teach more advanced keys and upper positions. Definitely best with a teacher. The original 1959 versions of these (which again, includes current volumes 4-6) are some of my very favorite notation method books in my teaching studio.
