I purchased John T's new book after seeing several page designs by him that I was impressed with. When the book arrived sadly it was bent in half (this was not his fault) and had to be replaced as there was no flattening it out despite the use of several super heavy books. The new book arrived in perfect condition and I was pleasantly surprised by it having never purchased a book printed via Amazon. The paper is 60lb white with a slight texture which makes it perfect to with PrismaColors or Colore' colored pencils as they both layer quite well in the book due to the texture.The content of the book overall consists of many adult phrases using the same style of balloon font intended to be a cookie, there are also several Christmas Cards which you color and cut out where were rather clever. Pages are printed on one side only which makes that great if you use markers or gel pens. There's a few pages of "paper wrap" with eye popping phrases for the weak at heart which would work great for wrapping any small item. I was hoping for more graphics or pages that were more "graphical" as opposed to the large amount of phrases which looked like cookies and were all basically the same layout and or style as mentioned. Strangely at the very end of the book there are several completely blank pages.For me, all in all, it was a decent book that has brought some giggles and has been loads of fun coloring, I look forward to his future work.
