The "All-in-One Course for Children" takes all of the pages from "Alfred's Basic Piano Library," Lesson Books 1A, 1B, and 2, plus selected pages from Theory, Recital and Fun Solo Books and combines them into part of a sequential five-book series. At the completion of Book 5, the student will be ready to continue into Level 3 of "Alfred's Basic Piano Library" or "Alfred's Premier Piano Course."

I LOVE this series and have been teaching out of it for over 9 years. I like that the theory, performance songs, and worksheets are all in one book. Never have I felt the worksheets are busywork- they all have educational value and check for understanding. Something else I love is that this series parlays very well into adult book 2 once book 5 is completed. Since it's the same company, the transition has been seamless. My students like that the children in the books get older with each successive book and grow with them. I like that these books make for well rounded musicians. Recommended all day every day.
